Chosen Commander Of The Unsullied...

The sixth season of HBO's Game of Thrones doesn't start until this April, but Dark Horse has your fantasy fix now. Following the December release of Jorah Mormont and Sansa Stark comes the chosen commander of the Unsulllied, Grey Worm! A warrior whose reputation for combat is without equal, Grey Worm is also a main advisor to Daenerys Targaryen.

Grey Worm is an exciting addition to the series. While it's hard to top the armored looks of The Hound and Brienne, Grey Worm delivers some exotic variety to the line with his streamlined weapons an attire. His long spear brings the figure's height to a staggering 12-inches tall and the round shield, a first for the series, is rendered with a realistic sculpt and paint apps.

Leader of the White Walkers...

Dark Horse Deluxe has revealed the latest figure in an ongoing series of characters from the critically acclaimed HBO series Game of Thrones: the Night King.

The masterfully sculpted figure finely details the leader of the White Walkers. It measures eight inches in height and is packaged in a collectors’ window box.

The Night King will be the twenty-fourth figure in the series and is slated for in-store release in September of 2016.

“The Night King’s confrontation with Jon Snow in the aftermath of the Hardhome battle is one of the most dramatic moments of Game of Thrones to date. We are very excited to have captured the power of this character in a stunning new figure,” Dark Horse Product Development head David Scroggy remarked.

Additional Game of Thrones characters are in development for release in summer and fall 2016. The Night King figure will be joined by Ygritte, Margaery Tyrell, Oberyn Martell, Grey Worm, and Varys.

Dark Horse also recently announced a limited-edition bust statue of the Night King, which will be released in March 2016.

Game of Thrones figures have a suggested retail price of $24.99 and are packaged in deluxe window box packaging.

While all eyes are currently on The Walking Dead (and everyone's mind on the new Star Wars movie), HBO's Game of Thrones is still a force to be reckoned with. Five seasons strong, Game of Thones is the best sword-swinging series on television (something the Bastard Executioner can't say), with legions of fans eagerly awaiting Season 6's premiere in April. When it comes to Game of Thrones collectibles, figures in particular, Dark Horse now leads the pack, long leaving Funko's Legacy Collection trailing in the dust with character selection. Dark Horse appears to be in it for the long haul, a very good thing for GOT fans wanting to collect every major character on the show - dead or alive.

HODOR! ...and Bran are up next in Dark Horse's extensive ‪Game of Thrones‬ figure series. Like the books, we sorely missed the pair in Season 5 that just ended, but my bet is that they'll be back as main characters come next year. This is hands down the largest (and nicest) figure in the line so far, the gentle giant and his fragile boy cargo measuring close to 9 1/2-inches tall. Like two figures in one, Hodor and Bran make for an essential addition to your Game of Thrones figure display or they look great on their own as a standalone piece.

Cersei, Jaime and the Eagerly Awaited White Walker...

It seems just like yesterday that fans received the third wave of Game of Thrones figures from Dark Horse . Actually is was last month, still an impressive turnaround for the release of this fourth figure assortment. Where Series 3 focused on House Stark, Series 4 delivers fans the Lannisters, specifically the cringe-inducing incestuous brother/sister duo of Cersei Baratheon (her married name - yes, it is awkward) and Jaime Lannister. Cersei was and still is a character fans love to hate, though Jaime's honorable transformation has placed him squarely on my "like" list. To top things off, Dark Horse gives Game of Thrones fans the long anticipated release of a White Walker. Four seasons in and we still don't know much about these mysterious zombie-like creatures.
