First Release In New HCG Collection...

From Frank Miller & Robert Rodriguez’s movie Sin City, Hollywood Collectibles Group presents the first in their officially licensed 1:4 scale statue collection... Marv!

Brilliantly portrayed by Mickey Rourke in the movie, Marv is captured in classic pose with pistol in hand, bloodstained shirt and heavy trench coat. The HCG Exclusive version of Marv also comes with an additional switch out right hand clutching Kevin’s severed head! With an authentic likeness of Marv, this incredibly realistic statue stands an imposing 20” tall on its Sin City themed base.

As with all Hollywood Collectibles pieces this Museum Quality statue is constructed from heavyweight polystone and then hand painted to the finest detail.

The regular edition of Marv, without Kevin's head, is priced at $349.95 and limited to 500 pieces. The HCG Exclusive is also $349.95, but highly limited to only 100 statues produced. Orders are open at hollywood-collectibles.com with both editions scheduled to ship in the second quarter of 2016.

"Transformers Roll Out"...

Transformers Roll Out heralds the global pop-culture Transformers phenomenon, featuring a collection of hit original songs inspired by the Hasbro Transformers franchise from leading established and up-and-coming alternative, rock and alt-pop artists, morphing together to create an epic portfolio of hard-hitting tunes that truly embodies the soul of the Hasbro Transformers brand. Factory Entertainment unveils the first in a wide range of assorted Deadpool products, the Deadpool Rocket Ride Premium Motion Statue.

Standing 10 inches high, this detailed Premium Motion Statue recreates one of Deadpool’s most iconic images. As with all of Factory Entertainment’s Premium Motion Statues, this product features an integrated dynamic element which distinguishes it from other sculptural collectibles. Line of Collectible Construction Sets Based on the Hit Game...

Todd McFarlane announced today that McFarlane Toys has teamed with video game maker Scott Cawthon to produce a line of collectible construction sets based on his runaway success, Five Night’s at Freddy’s. The series has become a verified cultural phenomenon over the last two years allowing Cawthorn to release three sequels.

The first wave of McFarlane’s upcoming Five Nights at Freddy’s construction sets will depict intricately detailed buildable scenes at various price points. One of the first Construction Sets from McFarlane Toys will allow fans to build the iconic “Freddy Fazbear’s Pizza” restaurant featured in the first game. The game’s main characters, Freddy, Bonnie, Chica and Foxy will all appear as buildable and collectible mini-figures that straddle the line between adorable and absolutely horrifying.

“We’ve struck the perfect balance,” said Todd McFarlane, Owner and CEO of McFarlane Toys. “The mini figures for the Five Nights [at Freddy’s] sets are equal parts cute and creepy. The Five Nights at Freddy’s construction sets will be available at major retail locations beginning Summer 2016. The McFarlane Toys deal was brokered by Striker Entertainment, the licensing agency for Scottgames.

Since its inception in 2011, LEGO's Ninjago has proven to be a very popular brand with fans. Concept art illustrations by Shunya Yamashita reveal new characters The Bride (Kill Bill), Edward Scissorhands, Chucky and Tiffany, Thor and Loki and Wonder Girl.

Super Powers Line Adds The Emerald Warrior...

Last summer I brought you a sneak peek at the first figure in Kotobukiya’s new line of DC Comics ARTFX+ Statues that replicate the look and feel of the old Kenner Super Powers action figures. Superman is of course going to be high on everyone’s list when a new line comes about, and as the inaugural character he made a big impact with his bright colors, cloth cape, and fun “action feature” replica parts. However, there was one superhero coming up a little farther down the line that really got me excited. You see, I’ve been a huge fan of Green Lantern since I was a little kid, and I still to this day have my Super Powers GL figure (in pretty good condition, no less).
